PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATOR:

The Health Educator’s primary role is to help maintain health
and wellness by preventing the onset of disease and injury. This is accomplished
by educating preventative health strategies by assessing, planning,
implementing, and delivering health promotion programs that facilitate voluntary
adoption of actions that are conducive to the health of individuals, groups, or
communities.
Services Provided:

Assess individual, community, school, and worksite needs for health
education programs

Plan and implement effective health education programs
|

Evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs

Act as a resource person in health education
